The Devon & Cornwall Police Band was the main Band for four of Bryanek's players albeit only one member of the ensemble is a serving officer. It was a sad farewell on the 17th December 2004 when the Band played to a capacity audience at The University Great Hall, Exeter. Although the Force supported the Band, unfortunately this was in words only. The vital support of financial and duty time could not be given and was withdrawn. But the memory goes on! ....... A large percentage of the Devon & Cornwall Police Band have joined together and with some others have formed the Riviera Concert Brass. This NEW Band directed by Mike Griffiths had their inaugural concert on April 23rd 2005,St Georges Day in All Saints Church Babbacombe, Torquay, Devon.

It was a fabulous concert with a capacity audience. From stirring &
traditional pieces such as Standard of St George and Jerusalem to light
entertainment and solos. The concert raised in excess of £800. The RCB wants to
thank all who supported them
